Experience report to be written...

Jumping off the cab, entering the York Club, it was a scene full of prostitutes. This might be one of the few places in Dubai with more women than men. It was a bit unexpected for me to see that so many, too many of them are chinese. It was a situation like what my colleague said, "Na Angie, Du beschützst uns, und wir beschützen Dich, so funktioniert es hier"

After seeing so many chickens in Dubai, I could now understand they might have rejected immigration for young single women not out of gender discrimination, but "security reason" to protect muslim moral standard.

Naja, ich habe inzwischen schon meinen neuen Visum gekriegt. Es war leider eine total Entäuschung, denn er ist nochmal Zeit und Arbeitsgeber begrenzt. Teilweise ist es eine Glück Sache, was man kriegt ist von dem Beamter abhängig; weil den Gesetz soooooo kompliziert geschrieben ist, dass jeder könnt darüber was anderes falch versteht....

Diese Tage finde ich, als Ausländer ist das Leben in DE besonderes kompliziert...

Gestern ist ein DHL Packet für mich an meiner Firmasanschirft angekommen, aber eine Identitätsprüfung war notwendig. Und meine Pass-nummer konnte der Postmann in das "Handheld-device" nicht eingeben, denn die passt das deutsche Format nicht... und dann sagte der Postmann, nach die Bürokratie muss ich das Packet in einer bestimmten DHL Filiale in einem Dorf selber abholen (meine Firma liegt fast an der Grenze), morgen ab 11 Uhr... Eine Kopie meines Pass sofort abzugeben ist kein Ersatz. Eine Paket-retour in die Stadt war auch unmöglich.

Heute hat meine Kollegerin mich in das Dorf gefahren. Aber... um das Paket abzuholen, ist zuzätlich meine Identität, eine Wohnungsadressprüfung notwendig. Ein Dokument bitte, oder ansonsten bitte weg! Es steht aber nirgendwo an der Abholungskarte dass ich einen Adressbeweis mitbringen sollte, und natürlich hatte ich so was nicht dabei... Zum größen Glück liegt eine Sparkasse gegenüber die Staße im Dorf. Mit meinem Pass konnte ich einen Anschirftsbeweis anfordern. Mit dem ich das Paket abholen durfte. Nach so viel Aufwand ist endlich alles erledigt (was ürsrpunglich bedeutet, dass man die Pass-nummer zur Authentifizierung in das Handheld-device einfach eingeben und das Paket bekommen).
