C++ training@Reuters

I attended a 3-days "advanced object-oriented design" course at Reuters HK delivered by this Kelvin Henney, a UK consultant. The only thing which I was thinking through the class was - if I want to be a consultant in the future... well, maybe... but not like boosting in the public...

Funny you mentioned "boost" although you meant "boast". Boost is an open source library written in such convoluted C++ that is is only readable by people who can read the author's mind. My opinion is that C++ should be used in its simplest form -- and this is why people love Java. I don't know if this is what your UK consultant advocates, because obviously I didn't watch your Youtube video :p

I wanted to mean boast, but I also had in mind "boost" as he said he is one of its "contributors".

Neither did I finish watching the whole video. I was only curious if his talk at Google and Reuters HK are of a different level. :)
