Vaals lies 5km away from Aachen. It is popular among here for the fish market on Tuesday AND the supermarket C1000 on Sunday.

Directions: Take bus 33 from Aachen, and get off at Vaals Busstation.

I still don't quite understand how the dutch supermarket system works: they cashier doesn't give change (is this only for cents?!). Today I could pay for 1 cent less. :p
