The Attack of the Clone

Laurent in HK

This is what we joked about - our episode of "The Attack of the Clone". Finally I met Laurent in HK. Hmmm... it is a little bit different from what I imagined, because we didn't talk anything deep, like what we could do at Skype a long long time ago. It was sooooo funny, whenever he tried to speak to me, he spoke in Mandarin, and I spoke many times to him in German. He made a long long speech in front of my parents without finishing his dinner. My mum kept shooting him with sarcastic questions, I don't know if he felt it that way, and he scolded my mum talking bullshit. It is kind of funny to see he has changed soooo much to be sooooo talkative. Will I make the same change in 2 years?!

Heute habe ich mit Laurent gesprochen. Ich habe einen Eindruck, dass sein Leben in Guongzhou sehr unsicher ist. Ich weiß nicht, ob wir in HK treffen können, denn näschte Woche fliege ich nach Taipei. Ich habe einen neuen Sprachaustauschpartner gefunden. Er studiert auch Informatik, und lernt seit ca. 2.5 Jahre chinesisch. Ich habe auch 2.5 Jahre Deutsch gelernt. Es sicht positiv aus, dass wir von einander was lernen können. :)

I have finished the new testament up to James. :p This thing also sounds interesting if you have enough time... :p What I cannot agree more with Laurent is.... we are born with different gifts, we find our interests and talents, and grow on them. And I think the world doesn't need me as a philosopher in theology, although I am neither sure if I am best to be an IT-er...
