ISCL orientation talk

Left my work at 3pm today to attend the orientation talk for my BA in ISCL (International Studies in Computational Linguistics). They assume the students have nothing else to do during the week, and they organize some compulsory compact seminars from 9.00-16.00 on Tue-Fri, which I will not be able to attend. Who knows what's going to happen: will I be able to get my computer account? Will I be disqualified...?! Right now I am seeking possibilities for applying exemptions for the "computational" part (maybe some German too, LOL). This is the only thing which might help...

You're there to study, not to get around things. :-P

I'm there to learn something new, not to be in a compulsory 3-full-day unix workshop learning how to use mkdir. :p
