Day 2 in Reykjavik

Early in the morning, we joined the Golder Circle tour for Viking horse riding. These horses are smaller and with a shorter face. (My thighs are extremely painful after I return to Tuebingen, and I also had a bruise on my leg :p). The stones and the grasses around the Gulfoss were all frozen by ice. But the weather in Iceland was very fine, much better than in Europe with snows. A Viking horse and the Gulfoss Posted by Picasa Then we went to see a Geysir. This natural water fountain explodes every 5 minutes. The ground is full of holes with steams. Next we visited a crater formed from a volcano. Through out Iceland is a natural and exotic atmosphere. At the evening we went to a supermarket in the city center to buy food, and then walked for some 1 hour back to the hostel, because taking the bus is too expensive... :p
