WM Volunteer Party

The Baden-Wuerttemberg State holds a WM Volunteer Party at the Staatsministerium BW at Stuttgart. At first I thought it is a very formal party, but it's completely different from what I thought... Staatsministerium Posted by Picasa It was a place like a "fest" with games counters, food, and drinks and alcohols everywhere... I didn't know really anyone there. But I chatted with a German man when I waited at the U-Bahn station heading home. He told me he lives in Boeblingen, and what I can first associate is IBM. But yes, I'm right, he is a former employer there, but now retired. And he carries another IBM employee's characteristic: speak fluent English (even the security controller at the lobby could). He said he applied 2 years ago to be a volunteer for the World Cup... Ok, so I'm too late... WM Volunteer Party und der Loewe (was heisst er nochmal?) Posted by Picasa
